Ever wonder how life will be in the future for you? Have you achieve your goals for the coming 10 years? Well, maybe you need some motivation. Why not write a postcard to the future you, 10 years later, to see if you have go for your dreams.

Previously known as 'De Yard Cafe', now known as Paper Pepper Cafe. Paper Pepper Cafe is located beside Sip & Chew Cafe. It is the first and only 'future postcard' concept cafe located at Heritage Georgetown Penang. The concept itself has caught my interest in visiting the cafe, not to mention their famous dessert - PANCAKES!! (One of my favourite desserts)

The cafe is designed in a way that makes customers feel comfy and relaxing. The wall is even full of drawings of cartoons. It looks so colourful that my happiness starts to kick in.
Customers are allow pick a postcard of their own choice for RM 5.00. Then they can decide how many years later they want to receive the postcard. For the first year if free whereas the following year is RM 5.00 each. (Maximum is 10 years)
Their menu is limited as they just started business for around 2 months time. During my visit, they serves quick bites, all day brunch, a few choices of pastas, dessert, coffee and non-coffee drinks.
Coconut Latte (RM 12.00)
It has a very strong coconut smell when it is served. But when you taste it, the latte is stronger then the coconut. It does taste a little weird but it is different from other coffee I have tasted.
Mint Latte (RM 10.00)
Mint latte has a very strong mint taste till I can barely taste the latte. But it gives you a very refreshing feeling after drinking it.
Toasted English Muffin, topped with Egg Benedict. Hash Brown, Fresh Greens and your choice of : Bacon/ Smoked Salmon/ Grilled Chicken (RM 22.90)
The Toasted English Muffin is delicious when it is eaten with Egg Benedict and bacon. The dish look quite simple and a bit pricy but I like the English Muffin with Egg Benedict.
Aglio Olio Mushroom (RM 14.90)
The aglio olio mushroom is a little too spicy for me. The spiciness was too much for me till I can't really taste anything except spiciness and mushroom. The lack of olive smell makes the dish a little tasteless. The pasta is a little too dry.
Strawberry Pancakes (RM 15.90)
A girl like me never say NO to dessert. The strawberry pancakes comes with 3 slices of pancakes layered with strawberry jam and a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. The pancakes are soft and fluffy. It was to my liking but I don't think it is the best pancakes dessert in town.
