Miam Miam

A dinner with a bunch of friends I just met a week ago during our college orientation week. We decided to go to try out Miam Miam which is located at Gurney Paragon.

A variety of choices on the food and beverages. Even though the food are a little expensive, but the portion is quite big for a smaller appetite person to finish.

My friends taking their own sweet time reading the menu and deciding what to order...

 Berries Soda (RM 13.80)

Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie (RM 13.80)

Iced Royal Milk Tea (RM 9.80)

Iced Matcha Latte (RM 11.80)

I only tried the Berries soda and Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie. The Berries Soda was quite nice but a little too much gas. I don't really like the Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie. As the combination of peanut butter and banana taste kinda weird to me.

 Pasta Arrabiata (RM 25.80)

 Bolognese (RM 24.80)

Pasta Carbonara (RM 26.80)

The food are so nice. I personally like the Bolognese and Carbonara. It's worth a try.

Blue Reef Fish & Chips

Met up with one of my high school friend and had lunch together at a restaurant in Straits Quay. It is located at the ground floor, right beside Papa Rich - Blue Reef Fish & Chips.

As stated in the title, Blue Reef Fish & Chips, they serve mostly western food and pasta.

 

 Iced Peach Tea (RM 5.00)

Prawn Aglio Olio (RM 18.00) 

Chicken Schnitze (RM 18.00)

Both the dishes are nice. The Prawn Aglio Olio is a little too oily but what makes it different from other aglio olio I have tried is that it comes with cheese. The prawns are big and juicy. As for the Chicken Schnitze, it was crispy on the outside and meaty on the inside. A dish that comes with a sauce, salad and chips.

D Fahrenheit Yogurt

A close friend of mine recommended me to give it a try here and so I did after buying the groupon deal. Only RM 29.00 for the chocolate fondue and their yogurt.

The design of the shop is very unique. It is different from other cafes or restaurants I have visited. The main serving of this shop is the yogurt. Most of their dishes have yogurt in it. 

There are so many choices for the yogurt. It took us a while to decide. In the end, I decided to try out something my friend recommended - Mixed Berries Vodka which contains alcohol.

Mixed Berries Vodka ( RM 11.00 )

The top part of the yogurt is frozen while the bottom part is the biscuit. It tastes special. Something I have never try before.

White Chocolate Fondue ( RM 39.90 ) 

As for the white chocolate fondue, it's nothing really special. Just fruits dipping into melted white chocolate.The fruits are inclusive of apple, kiwi, mango, papaya, banana, tomato and marshmallow.

Coffee Elements @ Gurney Paragon

After walking around a shopping mall, what is the best thing to do when you are tired? Sit down and grab a cup of coffee if you are a coffee lover or non-coffee lover. Coffee Elements is located at Gurney Paragon which allows shopaholic to take break when they are tired.

They have a variety of coffee. For example they serve espresso, mocha, latte, flat white and others. Worried if you are hanging out with a non-coffee lover? Problem solved!!! They serve tea and chocolate too. Bagels and Bircher Muesli are served too. Cakes like red velvet and carrot walnut are available at RM 8.50 per piece.

We ordered two cups of coffee and a bagel for tea time.

White Cafe Mocha ( RM 8.00 )

Their bagel are prepared in different ways like cream cheese, heavenly eggs and others. We decided to try a simple cream cheese bagel. The cream cheese is spread in the bagel. It tasted kinda salty and cheesy. Simple and nice.
