The Alley

Made a stop at The Alley which is located at Stewart Lane. The location of the cafe made it hard for us to find a parking spot. It took us a while to locate a spot which is still within walking distance.

The cafe is not very big and have limited seating. When we reached there around 3pm in the afternoon, it was almost full. They serve cakes, churros, cronuts and coffees. Their churros and cronuts are highly recommended.

We went there after lunch so we were still kinda full so we only ordered a few drinks and churros.

Second Visit at The Alley 

Missed the churros at the Alley, so I dragged my friend to make a stop here after lunch. It was Saturday so it took us a while to find a parking spot. There were a lot of cafes within walking distance like Pit Stop 12, Roti Bean, Cafe 55 and Sip & Chew, which made it harder for us to find a spot. We were lucky after driving area that area for more than 5 minutes, we found a spot directly beside The Alley. 

We ordered churros and two drinks. I read from other blogs that their affogato is mouth-watering so we decided to give it a try. I think the difference of their affogato is that they use Haagen-Dazs ice-cream.

Third visit at The Alley

One of my best friend requested to come here as she wanted to try out their churros. So here I am again for the third time. This time, we ordered the same churros - small, the affogato - the best so far and their weekly special kitkat cake. It was delicious.

Harvest Times Cafe

A birthday celebration with the best friend, sister of mine. We decided to have lunch together at Harvest Times Cafe which is at Irrawady Road. I had tried the other outlet called Harvest Inn which is a stone's throw away from Harvest Times. The food there was not bad so I decided to try this one too.

 The design of the shop is almost the same as Harvest Inn. The interior design has the half classic and half elegant look. I didn't took any pictures of the shop as I was busy catching up with my friends with the latest gossips. The first two pictures of the shop were actually took from Harvest Times's Facebook.

They provide set lunch. All you have to do is just pay extra RM 5 to get either the soup of the day or a salad and a drink on the choice of  Peach Tea or Lemon Tea. If you prefer to drink hot beverages, just add extra RM 2.50 for the freshly brewed coffee or fresh fruit juices.

We bought the birthday girl four pieces of cakes from The Twelve Cups. The waitress there were kind enough to help me wrote the "Happy Birthday" and did a little art too. The mille crepe cake costs RM 10.50 per slice. I chose Coffee Chocolate, Hokkaido Chocolate, French Vanilla and Tiramisu. ( from left to right ) I like the French Vanilla the most as the vanilla taste is quite strong. Both the Coffee Chocolate and Tiramisu tasted delicious too.
