Life is too short to wait: The Twelve Cups

Wanted to try out the crepe cakes at Twelve Cups so we went there to chill. Twelve Cups is located at The Whiteaways Arcade at Beach Street. It was quite crowded when I went there this evening around 5pm. I can see a few groups of friends and family hanging out there.

Another shop that is decorated in it's own and unique way. Due to the hot weather in Penang today, an air-conditioned shop turns out to be a popular place for people to chat while having a cup of coffee or a piece of cake.

Many choices on the drinks and cakes. They sell hot coffee and ice-blended coffee. The cakes they sold are mille crepe cakes which I like a lot cause it is made of lots of thin layer. Kinda like layer cake but it's the extra extra thin version of it.

A latte and two pieces of cakes to make a girl happy.

The Ice-blended Caramel Latte has the taste of caramel and latte in it. I like the taste of it as the caramel added in the drink was just right that I can taste both the caramel and the latte. Some other shops that add too much caramel will make the drink too sweet and the taste of latte in it will reduce. As for the crepe cakes, I think I enjoy the art on the plate more than I enjoyed the cakes. The crepe cakes are different from what I have tasted at Humble Beginnings. The texture of the cake is so much softer. The sweetness of the cakes was like very minimum so for those who enjoys their cakes in a certain level of sweetness most probably won't like the crepe cakes they serve. Though it is worth a try.
